Steven Yeun wird Hauptdarsteller in von A24 produzierter Dramedy
Erst am Montag, 15. März 2021, wurde der ehemalige "The Walking Dead"-Star Steven Yeun aufgrund seiner Darstellung im Film "Minari" für einen Oscar nominiert; laut Deadline hat er auch für eine neue Hauptrolle unterschrieben.
Bei dem noch titellosen Projekt handelt es sich um eine Dramedy, die durch die Produktionsfirma A24 entstehen soll, die auch schon für die Serien "Ramy" und "Euphoria" verantwortlich ist. Als Showrunner wurde Lee Sung Jin ("2 Broke Girls") verpflichtet.
Neben Yeun, der in "The Walking Dead" als Glenn Rhee zu sehen war, wurde auch Ali Wong ("American Housewife") als weibliche Hauptdarstellerin gecastet.
