"House M.D." is currently celebrating worldwide success, such as in Germany where 5 million viewers are watching the show every week. Do you actually notice the success that the show has abroad?

Because of the busy schedule on House, I haven¹t been able to travel very much. So, I guess I don¹t really have a sense of the show's success worldwide. I¹ve heard rumors, but I haven¹t seen it for myself yet.

What was your first reaction when you were offered the role of Dr. Cameron in "House M.D."? Did you immediately accept or did you hesitate regarding the medical background?

I did not hesitate. I was excited to take on a new challenge.

"Flourish" has been your first project as a producer and you also starred. What can you tell us about the movie? Do you prefer to work in front or behind the camera?

Flourish was just released world wide on November 14th on DVD. It will be available on Netflix starting December 5th. I know I will continue to produce and possibly direct, but I think I still prefer acting. I feel the most at ease and at home when I am working on a character. I am very proud of Flourish, it was a labor of love for a lot of people, and it was really exciting to see it all come together.

What kinds of scripts are you interested in? What must a script be like to appeal to you and make you want to immediately work with it, in front or behind the camera?

I have very eclectic taste in material. I am most drawn to whatever is the most different from the last job that I did. Since House is so serious and Cameron is so controlled and bright, I am currently more drawn to roles that are either comedies or really dark and gritty. I'm sure if I were working on a comedy everyday, I would start to gravitate to something more serious. My initial thought about material is always first as an actor and then second as a producer - if I have the connections to help get something going. Which, honestly, is still a rare occasion.

Have you always wanted to become an actress or did you also have other careers in mind? Your father has once been "teacher of the year", have you ever wanted to become a teacher, too?

For some reason, I have always wanted to be an actor, but I do also want to teach. I used to teach children's theater. I loved it. It was so rewarding and surprising. I am hoping to one day, go back and get my master's degree and teach acting at a University. I don't know why, but that had always been in the back of my head. I love working with college actors. They are still so hungry and excited and open to trying new things. It's a great environment for creativity.

What would you say, how much of Dr. Allison Cameron is in Jennifer Morrison? Are there certain similarities between you and your "House M.D." character?

There are certain similarities and certain differences. I am extremely discipline and hard working, like Cameron, but I am not lonely and isolated like her. Cameron has given her whole life to her work, and sacrificed having personal relationships. Luckily, I have not had to make that same sacrifice. I am very thankful for all of the amazing people in my life.

In the US the first episodes of season 3 have just aired. Can you give us some scoop on what will happen? What will go on between Dr.House and Dr. Cameron?

House and Cameron are always complicated. Season 3 seems to subtly show the way they sort of inherently understand each other, and yet can not be together.

If you met a person with the same characteristic traits as Dr. House, do you think that you would get along as well as Allison and Gregory do?

I think we would definitely get along. I tend to do well with wounded men.

What projects are you going to work on in the future? Is there anything specific already besides "House M.D."?

I filmed a movie called Big Stan during the last hiatus and that will be out this summer. It is a big fun comedy where I play Rob Sneider's wife. I am also about to film some scenes for a new live action video game called Command and Conquer 3. I won't have another break from House until the end of April, but there are a couple of projects that I think will fit in.

Part 2: Fan questions

Do you think that Gregory House and Cameron are destined for each other and will get together? How would you characterize their relationship?

Maybe. House and Cameron definitely have a strong understanding of each other, but I'm not sure I would call that destiny. They sort of function like an old married couple, but without any intimacy at this point.

What House episode (or scene) did you have most fun playing Cameron in, or enjoyed most watching yourself playing Cameron?

I think I had the most fun doing the episode where Cameron does drugs. I have never done drugs myself, but it was just fun to have a change of pace from the typical medical stuff I usually have to do. I felt like I got to play a little.

What advice do you have for younger girls who want a career in acting, who look up to you as a role model?

The best thing I ever did for myself was finishing college. When ever I was auditioning, I never felt desperate, because I knew I had my education to fall back on. I would also tell someone to only go into it if you absolutely, completely love acting. No one should do this for fame. Fame is not what people think it is, and it will never fulfill you or make you feel better about yourself. You have to have incredibly thick skin to endure all of the rejection in this business.

Out of all the roles you've had in movies and TV shows do you have a favorite? Which one? Which one(s), if any, do you feel you relate to the most?

I don't think I've played my favorite role yet. I always love each character as I am playing it, but I don't think I have the one I've been waiting for yet.

Do you ever go onto "House" message boards or websites to see how the public feels about the show?

No. Absolutely not.

What's you're favorite thing about being an actress and least favorite thing?

I love being challenged and pushed to grow creatively and as a person, I don't love the crazy hours. It's a fair trade off in the end. I wouldn't want to do anything else really.
