1. Comic book adaptations are bigger than ever right now. What can you tell us about your experience working on the "The Flash

So far it's been fantastic! I've loved getting to know and getting to work with such talented people on both the cast and crew. Plus because of the genre, there's a lot of room to play on set and have fun!

2. What do you remember best from your first day on set of "The Flash"?

I was insanely nervous on my first day. So nervous that I kept forgetting my lines. Luckily my first scene was with Tom Cavanagh, who is one of the most considerate people in the industry, and he was so helpful. I'm pretty sure he acted like he forgot his lines too just to make me feel better! I'll never forget that.

3. When you got cast as such an iconic character from the Flash mythos, did you feel any pressure bringing this character to life on television?

I definitely felt a little pressure because I want to do the character justice, but so far I've only really gotten positive feedback which is amazing. One of the things I think the show does so well is finding that balance between the stories from the books and creating new ones.

4. We haven’t seen you as the speedster Jesse Quick yet, but esp. after episode #2.20 Rupture many were expecting to see that on TV. Were there any plans to make your character a speedster in season 2?

I was expecting to see it last season as well, and was definitely a little disappointed to not have a suit yet, but I trust the writers and I know they've got to have something planned for hopefully this season. I just can't wait to try on a suit and see how it feels!

5. Obviously the show uses much CGI and Special FX, but can you give us an idea of what it’s like for you as an actor to have a scene with something physically impossible?

Any scene that uses special FX is going to be a more difficult one for an actor because you have to work around it but still make it feel believable. What's really cool is when we get to see the process of the FX and see what's going on before we even shoot it! That definitely helps when it comes to villians or locations that are completely computer generated.

6. It was just announced that you will be part of season 3 of "The Flash". Can you tell us a little bit about your storyline? Will we finally see you as speedster 'Jesse Quick’?

Honestly, I don't know too much about my storyline for this season. I know I'll be back at some point, but I don't know if it will be as Jesse Quick. With Flashpoint starting off the season, literally anything is possible. I could come back as Earth-1 Jesse..!?

7. When you joined the show did you know that your story arc would be expanded so much?

I didn't and I'm not sure the creators did either. I auditioned from a self-tape I recorded in Austin, where I live. And I hadn't actually met or read with anyone until my very first day on set. It's all sort of been a play-by-ear situation!

8. Jesse and Wally became good friends and maybe a little more than that in season 2 of "The Flash". Would you like to explore this relationship even more in season 3?

I definitely think there was a spark between the two characters last season, and I think it makes sense! You know, they're both outsiders and don't really know anyone. I think it could be interesting to see where that goes in the 3rd season.

9. With traveling to other earths we've already seen different versions of quite a few characters on the show. If it was your choice: what kind of version of Jesse would you like to play?

I've always thought it would be cool to play a version of Jesse who's some sort of rap genius! I'm pretty bad at rapping (better at beat boxing) so I think it would be really fun to get to do that!

10. Is there a piece of advice from a (more experienced) fellow actor that you found particularly helpful?

Just to really listen. When you're in a scene with another actor, really listen to what they're saying and respond however you're feeling. It's incredibly important to creating real moments and also helps in your daily life! Being a good listener is an important and loving quality.

11. You lost your 'con virginity' at ArcCon in Brussels, right? How did you like your first con experience and what was it like meeting the fans in Europe?

It was really fun! It was a smaller convention which I was happy about, and I was actually able to talk and meet a lot of fans. The fans I've met from Europe are all extremely friendly and supportive. One thing I also noticed, which I thought was sweet, was a lot of them were nervous or embarrassed by their accents and didn't feel like they could ask questions because of it! Meanwhile, I was just impressed at the amount of English they knew.

12. Since myFanbase is an online magazine about TV series, we would like to know what your favorite shows are?

I love Orphan Black, it's one of my favorite shows, and Tatiana Maslany is absolutely wonderful. Also Game of Thrones, UNreal, and Portlandia are just a few more.

Thank you so much for making time for us, Violett, we wish you all the best!
