David Anders im Interview (Teil 2)

Auch David Anders war auf der Staffel 3 DVD Party von "Alias". Wie allen "Alias" Fans bekannt, spielte David Anders die Rolle des Bösewichts Sark in den ersten beiden Staffeln, doch seine Rolle wurde reduziert und in der 4. Staffel ist er noch gar nicht aufgetreten. Das gibt dem jungen Schauspieler Zeit für seine Arbeit bei "CSI".

What`s going on with Sark in Season Four? I have yet to work on the fourth season, so I have absolutely no idea what`s happening. I know it`s trying to get back to the way the show was in the first season, which is more streamlined episodes and not as much stuff going on. More contained episodes. Look forward to the relationship between Sydney and her sister.

What projects have you been working on while you wait? I`m actually working on CSI right now too. Doing a little moonlighting which is very cool. And I`m going to go back to work for Alias.

Are you a regular on CSI? No, they just offered a recurring role for me so I`m going to recur on Alias and CSI now. It`s going to be cool.

Did you do any extras for the DVD? Extras as far as doing multiple takes so that I could get some bloopers in on it.

Any commentary? This past two seasons I`ve been out of town for the commentary.

What would you have to say to the listeners? Now’s your chance. I don`t know, I guess I`d have to rewatch it like we do the commentary.

What do you think of J.J.`s comments that the third season lost its way? I think there`s a lot of truth to that. I think there were some really, really kick ass episodes and some really suspect episodes. But I think that J.J.`s going to be back with the show. He`s going to be watching over things more than he was last season. It`s going to be back to how it was in the first couple seasons. More streamlined, contained, always great episodes.

What was your favorite kick ass episodes? Every episode I was in. [LAUGHS] I`m hard pressed to say. I loved the episode where Ron Rifkin gets the lethal injection and then gets revived around with that Deftones song over it at the end. I`m only in that episode for a minute or two. I shoot David Carradine in that. But it`s just flawless. I think that`s the best episode that the show has ever done.

You got to kill Bill. Yeah, I did.

When do you go back? I go back to Season Four in October.

Have they told you anything? No. I got the first couple scripts. I`m reading the scripts and everything but I have no idea. I know that since they`re going in a different direction, as far as the sister relationship, when I`m going to be on screen and in the episodes it`s going to heavily revolve around Sark, which I think will maximize the effect of the character, which I think the character is for.

So you`re not just on hand for exposition? I`m not just defending a laboratory or something without any lines.
