Laut TVLine hat Peacocks "Joe Exotic" einen neuen Darsteller gefunden. Die Rede ist dabei von niemand anderem als Kyle MacLachlan. Er wird laut Berichten Howard Baskin spielen.
MacLachlan hatte Rollen in "Desperate Housewives", "How I Met Your Mother", "Twin Peaks", "Believe" und weiteren Produktionen.
