Neues Projekt für Gillian Anderson

Seit einiger Zeit wird darüber gemutmaßt, dass Gillian Anderson in einer Verfilmung des Romans "Veronika Decides to Die" von Paulo Coelho die Hauptrolle übernehmen soll. Nun gab Katherine Fugate, die potentielle Drehbuchschreiberin für das Projekt, Neuigkeiten dazu preis. Somit stecke sie noch mitten in Verhandlungen, u.a. mit Gillian, aber es sehe gut aus und sie würde sich auch durchaus freuen, mit ihr zusammenarbeiten zu können. Allerdings sei noch nicht offiziell, um die Verfilmung welches Buches es sich wirklich handle.

THE GILLIAN ANDERSON PROJECT: gillian anderson and i are in negotiation to buy the rights to a novel in which we will both act as co-producers of the movie, with me writing the screenplay and gillian starring in it. due to legal reasons and because it has not been publicly announced in the trades, i cannot state the book's title. once the deal closes and i get the okay, i will. in the interim, i am thrilled with the prospect of bringing this life transforming novel to the screen and with working with gillian, who is a thoughtful, insightful and soulful collaborator.
