Penelope Wilton

Penelope Alice Wilton wurde am 3. Juni 1946 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England in eine Schauspieler-Familie hineingeboren. Bevor sie anfing für Film und Fernsehen zu arbeiten, konnte die Britin bereits eine beachtliche Theater-Karriere vorweisen, für die sie vielfach ausgezeichnet wurde. Seit 1972 war sie dann in vielen namenhaften Produktionen zu bewundern, wie "Iris", "Stolz und Vorurteil" und "Match Point".
