1. What is your favorite place in the world? Where do you feel most comfortable?

I'm definitely a homebody, so I'm gonna have to say that's my favorite place to be. I love being with my family. The whole atmosphere makes me forget about all of the mayhem and pressure that comes with the business. I can just be myself.

2. When and why did you decide to become an actress?

When I was little, I actually loved singing first, and craved to be on a stage. When that became second nature I eventually got an agent and started going out on commercial auditions to try something new. Haven't stopped since then!

3. Besides acting you also started your music career. How would you describe your music in one sentence?

My music is a representation of me as a person. With acting, you're at the mercy of so many people. Music expresses me, not someone else's vision of what they want me to be. At the moment, I'm revamping my direction musically, so stay tuned for a brand new look and sound.

4. How do you develop your songs? What part comes first, music or lyrics?

Depends! There's no method for me, it just has to flow.

5. What has been the best experience so far as a musician

I love everything about being a musician. From writing sessions, to performing on stage. The most surreal experience is having people respond so positively to your music. Singing along, doing covers on youtube, saying that the lyrics touched them or helped them through something - It's such an amazing feeling.

6. What do you think, as an artist, about platforms like MySpace?

I'm all about internet platforms! If it's done in a classy and safe way, the internet is the best place to put yourself out there, and be able to get immediate feedback.

7. Do you think it's possible that one of your songs is played on "The Vampire Diaries"? Would you like that to happen?

I would love it if one of my songs was played on The Vampire Diaries! So many people watch the show, and that kind of exposure for my music would be unreal!

8. Speaking about the show: What was the audition process like for "The Vampire Diaries"?

The audition process for the show was your typical pre-read and callback. It's a long story, but I actually had booked another show and wasn't supposed to go in for my VD callback because filming dates overlapped. But VD liked me enough to offer changing the schedule around if they were to consider me. I went in, and the rest is history!

9. Can you relate to the buzz about vampires, the fascination for beauty, danger and living forever?

I can most definitely relate to the buzz about vampires. There's something about the mystery and danger that's like a magnet to people. They're not your typical "monster." The fact that they look human makes them somewhat attainable - kinda. ;)

10. You started "Team Anna" and asked fans and users to send in pictures or videos. Who came up with the idea? And how has been the response to that?

The response to "Team Anna" has exceeded my expectations! I came up with the idea, because I love being hands on with fans and getting them involved. From idea concepts and all of the editing (which is not saying much, ha!) - I do it all.

11. Anna is a great character and fits perfectly in the whole show. Do you know if there are any plans to keep your character for the second season?

I can't say... Guess you'll have to keep watching and see for yourself!

12. Anna tried everything to reunite with her mother. Now that Pearl is out of the tomb Anna seems to notice that is wasn't for the best. Will she act against her mother's believes?

I can't give away plot details, but Anna definitely doesn't regret getting her mother back. Sure there are differences, but that's because they're getting their sea legs back within their relationship, considering lots of time has passed since they've been together.

13. The vampires in the show have rings that allow them to walk in daylight and they drink blood from the blood bank or from animals. Is there still a downside to being a vampire?

I think there are pro's and con's to being a vampire for sure. I can't list them all, but a big con I think would be becoming jaded. When you're living for hundreds of years you experience people you love dying all the time. I was assume you would get to the point to where you wouldn't even want to make relationships anymore, knowing that those people will inevitably be gone from your life.

14. There are two questions that are strongly discussed about your character Anna: When and by whom was she turned? And is Pearl her biological mother? Can you tell us anything about that?

I honestly don't have an answer! I do think Pearl is my biological mother, considering we look related. Either that, or the resemblance was a very big coincidence! That's a question for the writers, Kevin and Julie.

15. Is there anything you can tell us about what's coming up next on "The Vampire Diaries"?

The next few episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" are sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Throughout the season, there have been constant surprises and twists - and the last few episodes leading up to the season finale are no exception.

16. If you could choose two other characters from "The Vampire Diaries" to have their own spin-off with your character Anna, who would it be?

Of course I would say Jeremy, or maybe Anna and Damon could tag-team evil doers together!

17. Are there funny experiences you made on set that you can tell us about?

Too many to mention...some too embarrassing!

18. Do you have any other new projects you can tell us about?

I have a little role in "The Social Network" which will be coming out later this year. Look out for it!

19. Since myFanbase is an online magazine about TV series, do you have a favorite show?

I don't really get much time to watch TV, so I don't really have a favorite show that I'm following. I try to catch "Glee", though!
