1. You are very new to business and there are not many information about you. What can you tell us about you? Where and when were you born, where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Havana Cuba. Ever since I was a little girl I loved performing and I danced ballet for 13 years. There is nothing that made me happier. I love to feel the public. I love to entertain. It’s always been a part of my life.

2. When and why did you decide to become an actress?

Well after dancing for 13 years straight I realized that more than anything I wanted a career for life. Ballet is a very limited career. When I told my mother that I didn’t want to be a ballet dancer her answer was "ok, now what"? I started modeling just to try something new. I wasn’t satisfied coming from a ballet background. I love to study and practice until I get good results. One day I was in a modeling audition and a close friend said to me, why don’t you try theater? I said REALLY!!! From the moment I went to my first acting class and I saw a very dramatic scene, I felt like I wanted to cry!! It was so thrilling and fulfilling to me. I came home that night I hugged my mother and said I want to be an actress! Since that day I haven’t stop. I have to admit I have a great mother.

3. You have a new movie coming out called "From Mexico with Love". What can you tell us about it and which role do you play?

"From Mexico with Love" is a beautiful movie that I enjoyed very much working on. I played Maria. She is a girl from Mexico that moves to the United States with her Uncle and at the end she ends it up finding the love of her life. "From Mexico with Love" is about the emigration and the struggle to start a new life in the United States. I relate to my character Maria because I came to this country 4 years ago. I couldn’t speak English well. It was really hard, the culture, the people, and the food, I felt like I was on a different planet.

4. Since you are going to be in season 3 of "Prison Break" have you watched the show before?

I can honestly say that I don’t watch TV. I feel very fortunate to be part of Prison Break. This is like a dream job for me!

5. How was the casting for "Prison Break"?

Well the audition was very interesting to me. I was very confused because the producers kept giving me different characters scenes. I would be playing a scene from Lincoln and another day a scene from Sara. I didn’t know if I was good or bad. The funny part of all this is when I finally met the writers and we talked about Sofia they kept telling me that she was very naive. I said I disagreed because in one of the scenes I am killing somebody. They all started laughing. They gave me different characters to see different levels of me. Interesting right!!

6. What character will you play on the show? And what’s her story?

My character’s name is Sofia. Sofia is the girlfriend to one of the prisoner’s. She fights to get him out because she is the reason why he is in jail. He was defending her. It’s a beautiful love story between the two characters. Lincoln and Sofia become a team to rescue Michael and Whistler (my boyfriend).

7. What else can you tell us about season 3?

Season 3 is going to be very different. It will take place in Panama. It will have the Latin flavor. I am very excited.

8. Besides "Prison Break" have you any other projects you can tell us about?

I am putting 100% of my energy into the show. I am not working on any other projects at the moment.

9. Since myFanbase is an online magazine about TV series do you have a favorite one?

I love watching the reruns of Friends. I think they are really funny. The energy between them is unique.
