SAG-Awards zum 19. Mal verliehen

Gestern Abend wurden in Los Angeles zum 19. Mal die jährlichen SAG Awards der Screen Actors Guild verliehen. Dabei handelt es sich um einen Preis, der sowohl im Bereich Fernsehen als auch im Bereich Film verliehen wird. Geehrt werden ausschließlich schauspielerische Leistungen. Mehr als 100.000 Mitglieder der SAG-AFTRA können abstimmen, an wen die Preise gehen.

In diesem Jahr wurde Dick Van Dyke (unter anderem bekannt aus "Diagnose Mord") mit dem Preis für sein Lebenswerk ausgezeichnet. "30 Rock"-Star Alec Baldwin, der später selbst noch als bester Hauptdarsteller einer Comedyserie ausgezeichnet wurde, überreichte ihm den Preis nach der Präsentation einer Filmcollage seiner bester Rollen.
